Yet again we have been dudded.66 is way below par for Balic.
We should have pushed for a better pick,but I guess one way or theother we were going to lose him and Melbourne knew it.They will be laughing their heads off at this steal.

Unless we use that 66 or a similar pick for Matera, then its not too bad

Massive steal for Melbourne. This bloke was a touted first round draft pick and only slid to us because of a flowered wrist, we get him right and he decides he wants to go home on the verge of cementing a spot in the 22.

Oh well. Let's just hope a Liam Ryan or Cody Ninyette is still there at 66.

From what I've heard there's a fair bit going on in his personal life off-field.

Might go some way to explaining the pick 66 deal and the fact he was only offered a 1 yr deal.

All the off field stuff was supposedly alleviated when he went back home ... it was wasn't it!!! He has been home more in the last 6 months than what he was at Fremantle.

It was great to see Harley pay tribute to the Dockers for the way they handled his situation.
Though gone from the club , he will get more plaudits from Freo supporters than at least one other will I am sure.
Melbourne have a real talent here.
