This is my exact reason why.
Lowest scoring player on the ground yesterday.

Once a tag is applied on him, he is done!

36 SC points? Has to be taking the piss seriously!

I can't say you're wrong.  :P

If I was in at all contention in anything I wouldn't have picked him up, but since my season was burned anyway and I lost 150 odd points from ground selections before Sunday I just brought him in and chucked the Captaincy on him!

he was injured on friday night? Hasnt had his best season though at all this year, but he isnt on his own at the Swans there!

I love JPK as a player, but I start with him every second year which is always when he has a downer:

2012 - average 119
2013 - 105 (started with him)
2014 - 114
2015 - 109 (started with him, wasn't so bad but had some terrible games mid-season)
2016 - 113
2017 - 101 (started with him)

Watch him kick ass next season because I definitely won't have him in my initial squad ::)

Starting with JPK has always been a risk, he is normally a much better 2nd half year player than 1st half

I have noticed this pattern, and consequently have started him in all his good years.  :P

1st half of 2016 - 99 average
1st half of 2017 - 105 average

2nd half of 2016 - 116 average
2nd half so far - 94 average

If his 2nd half was better this year ... then 105 for the 1st half would have been ok.
