Marcus Adams in a moon-boot with crutches in the rooms, anyone know what the incident was?

Compare the pair.

37 disposals, 1 goal, 17 CP's, 6 clearances, 7 clangers, 3 tackles, 48% efficiency - 99 SC
vs
18 disposals, 0 goals, 7 CP's, 2 clearances, 6 clangers, 11 tackles, 38% efficiency - 92 SC

Supercoach blows.
Yep Joey was BOG tonight easy and that 99 SC doesn't equate to the influence he had on the game
I'm sure the disposal efficiency can be forgiven when the possessions are that contested. Apparently not.

If Jude Bolton actually realised a boundary rider's job is to find out about injured players instead of saying "I haven't seen him" every time he was asked, then we might know ::)

Hahaha yeah, too busy enjoying the front row seat to his boys in action.

The commentators only knew that he 'mysteriously disappeared' and didn't emerge from the rooms after about half time.

Well....

JPK
on DE... 51.4% of 37 is 19 effective disposals. JPK is the best handballer in the universe so lets assume more handballs would be effective than kicks. Lets say 18 of his 22 were effective, meaning only 1 kick was effective...
18 handballs = 27 pts
1 kicks = 4
1 goal = 8
17 contested possessions = 76.5
clearances don't count for points in SC
7 clangers = -28
3 tackles =12
2 marks (uncontested) = 4
2 FF = 8
1 1%er (if a shepherd) = 1.5
Total = 113

*Note* Also factor in scaling during the game

So 99SC could be achievable

BONT
on DE... 38.9% of 18 is 7 effective disposals. Bont is the best kick in the universe, and more kicks hit targets than his handballs. Sol lets say 2 of his 6 were effective, meaning only 5 kicks were effective...
2 handballs = 3
5 kicks = 20
1 behind = 1
8 contested possessions = 36
clearances don't count for points in SC
6 clangers = -24
11 tackles =44
6 marks (uncontested) = 12
4 1%er (if a shepherd) = 6
1 Hitout (if to advantage) = 5
Total = 103

*Note* Also factor in scaling during the game

So 92SC could be achievable

Why must you ruin a good whinge with your cold hard logic! :)

Sounds like CD had a lot of questions on that last night. Their latest tweet explains the breakdown of scoring for Bont and JPK

I've hit up CD for an unscaled breakdown. Don't think we'll get it but would provide heaaaps more clarity on some scoring i don't have

One thing I learned from that data is F/a are not the standard -4.

I had noticed that it rarely is worth negative anything. I'll be watching the live tracker and a player will have a FA but their score won't move. In a way I think -4 is too hard of a punishment considering umpires can make the incorrect call.

It's also why I think 50's are really noticeable because that's 99% of the time out of pure stupidity.
