I've reversed trades about ten times. Having the same delemma. Two rookies, or Rocky and one. Should beat my opponent this week without Rocky but don't want him to get out of reach, and he would be handy for VC as well.

I suppose it comes down to whether Fisher is that much better than the rookies to come, and whether it's worth the risk of Rocky getting out of reach. There is other options for me in mids that still have higher BEs (Bont, Sellwood). flowering driving me crazy!

rocky BE 90, projected to go up 12k.
I think you could handle a 12k increase if you want to get two decent rooks in this week, which I think fisher is and balic seems to be (seeing he was brought straight back in after inj/rest).
I want rocky also, but I don't think ill pass up these two this week. ill cop a 12k Rocky increase. these 2 will cover that next week anyway with their rises.
Ill prob even pass up rocky next week depending on his BE next week and the progress of EVW black and parsons if named.

Yeah, you're probably right. We really can't afford to miss good money making rookies this year. Just hope they don't let us down.

This argument runs twofold, by overlooking a premium this week you lose 50 points and then run the risk of having injury concerns which may delay getting in that extra premium for several weeks. Whilst I think that both Balic & Fisher are good rookies I also feel there will be plenty of others coming up like Black, EVW, Myers, Poholke etc. I'll be grabbing Fisher this week & Black next week. I'll also be adding two premos.

Can someone help me decide what's my best options to trade down to both of these guys next week. The downgrade options that I have that I'd consider trading for these blokes. Swallow, Pickett, Parfitt, Bowes, Hibberd and Eddy. I'm hesitant to trade Pickett, and Eddy as that basically burns a trade with no cash generation, but then I understand if something goes wrong with the rookies I bring in I'm almost left with no cash being generated.
