Matty crouch.

Ok folks. A few people on here know I have had this bloke in and out of my team an incredible amount of times. I'm a real crouch fan(love his brother as well).

What are everyone's opinions on him. I really think it's Matty crouch midfield now and he is just going to play such massive contested minutes in the guts.

I went matt crouch to Dustin Martin and only today traded Martin out to treloar. Real dirty I didn't stick to my guns regards Dustin Martin.

I'm considering the following move.

Simpkin to George horlin smith via Taranto and gawn to goldy  but I'm 3.5k short but i think this really reduces team risk for
My team. The only issue is now that spencer didn't make the cut I really want to try keep gawn. If I keep gawn I need to lower someone and can afford any mid up to 545k which would leave me with 3 possibles wines viney or Matty crouch. Matty crouch is my fav.

If the answer is yes or keeper numbers remain the same, go with your instincts.

Are you gaining more keepers than you are losing?

If the answer is yes or keeper numbers remain the same, go with your instincts.

This is good advice and it's telling me to back my instincts.

Points per minute he's up there with the best, but you have to assume he's top 10 which I doubt. Best go with the safe and assured players.

I like him more in AF/DT and have had him in both of those teams at one stage or another. Ended up putting in a "true premium" though as I wasn't totally convinced he could make the next step.

No doubt he can rack them up, but the question I'd ask is - can you see him being a Top 10-12 mid comes seasons end? Because that's what we should be aiming for

At his absolute best he can match a Treloar/Slaone. How likely do you think that he will. Your essentially getting paid 90-100k to pick him up as a risk over these guys. Whats that worth to you?

if he goes say 10 points under those guys then your losing 220 points over a season. Can you make those points somewhere else on the team?

If you think the 10 points is too high and its actually 5 then 110 points you should be easily able to make up with 90k.

could be as simple as WHE over Houston on field etc...

How much do you think GHS beats Simpkin florent type? I would say by more than 10

more then 10 if he plays in the correct role and doesnt get dropped. GHS has lots of negatives though, could get a bad role, hasnt be a big scorer in the past, could lose his spot, Scott Selwood only a week or two away.

in saying that would take Treloar/Sloane + Simpkin over Crouch GHS every day of the week.
