Thinking I might be too strong in mids, too weak in backs/rucks. Tried to go for value. Thoughts?

I think your 1 premo short in the backs. I can see where your going with it though.

Don't think Witts is right for rucks and would have Nank there so move from fwd line to ruck

1st 4 in fwd line are fine and very similar to mine. Black wont play would have miles there

Very Similar to my own side too. Of the starting 22. DEF 5/6. MID 6/8. RCK 0/2. FWD 4/6. Going to be a fine line between so many teams this season. In this case it would mainly boil down to can Rocky/Treloar/Sandi/Witts defeat HepD/Jobe/Gawn/Ryder?

Yeah, I think a lot of my team comes down to when final teams are named. If Witts gets ruck and Currie isn't named, I'll keep him in. If not, I'll have to do some movement to find cash for SMartin. Might have to bring another forward rook in, move Nank to the rucks and turn Sandi into Martin.

I like the idea of a weaker defense this year, I think that's where the value is; Ive gone Doch, Laird, Mills and then rookies.

Obvious weak area is the rucks, those two are the main risk in the team, but obviously youve recognised that and cash will be easy to generate via downgrading a couple mids.

Like the forward line, couldnt find the guts to start with Steele even given his JLT form.  As TB said, cant see Black starting given he wasnt in the last JLT game/rd1 rehearsal.
