Thunderbolts

Hi all,

Feel free to rip this apart. Wanting some feedback on it. 1st draft for the year and haven't really done any research so far  :)

I've got 16K left over.

iZander

I like the strength of the backline, sacrifcing mid strength obviously but i think thats a better option this year with some of the mid rookies available. Solid forward line, dont really like the Nroo pick, think hes too risky for his price, good chance to miss games and at 667k probably cant afford to have him missing :P plus might be able to get a premo forward for him while making an upgrade elsewhere with the extra cash?

Commenting on rookies at this point is pointless :P

Nice team!!!

Thanks for the input...Yeah NRoo could change and agree about not commenting on the rooks yet...

Anyone else got some input?

GoLions

Yeah would probs go Nroo to Dahl, and then maybe swap Bont for someone else, think he's better suited for SC.

Peter

Yes, Bont not as prolific for AF

Thunderbolts

Thanks Guys for the input so far...

Here are a couple of changes. Feel free to rate it and provide further advice  8)

MGK1

Thunderbolts

This is its latest version post JLT week 1

Still rookies will be changed around once round 1 is about to go and we know who's in for sure...happy for further advice  8)

Thunderbolts

Ok have been messing with my side and thought I would seek some input on this updated list.

$69K left over. Hit me with your thoughts??  8)

Tuohy has had a strong JLT, and appears to be a better than popular Hibberd and more unique than Mills (who I've personally gone for). A little bit too into the unknown for my liking though with a highest ever average of 73.2.

Im personally a bit nervous about rocky (see thread in players and trade) so not 100% sure if I will change that.

Seems like a pretty stock standard rucks, obviously drop Maritn if Archie is named.

Im personally not sold on Steele either (top score ever of 98), but he is another one who has had a change in environment which could suit and see a break out year for.

I dumped Ryder after the first two weeks, wasnt happy with Lobbe and Trengove taking from his scoring; but he scored well in his final JLT match and if you think that's a better reflection of how he will score go with him. Im assuming a big reason for picking him is DPP?

I agree with what you've said above and have some of the same reservations (Rocky, Steele, Touhy) and will watch when teams are announced before the cutoff.

Yeah have got Ryder there for the DPP but also because he can kick goals. Personally believe Hinkley has made his mind up and after the last JLT will have him as the solo ruck which = points.

Ringo

Nice team to sit on until we know which rookies are available.
