i'm leaning towards Team A structure right now.

Team A is better then Team B but these are a couple of suggestion that could be made to make Team A better.

Def: Tom McDonald I'm not sure can be there. For his price I don't think his worth it and his scores are up and down and I don't think he can be trusted. Some better options around that price are Josh Gibson which I think might get more mid time with Sam and Lewis not there anymore.

Mid: Your best part of your team. Only thing I would do is watch Myers and Watson in the JLT Cup and there coming off missing 12 months and may never be the same but other then that you mid is great.

Ruck: Grundy I would get rid of for 520k his not producing that much. If I were you I would go down to Sandi or maybe get someone like Mumford who is a monster in the ruck. He his 16k more and will get better scores then grundy.

Fwd: In my life time  of playing supercoach I never have a key postion player UNLESS his cheap. Lynch is 500k. Thats a lot for him even tho he kicked alot of goals last year I don't know if he can back it up and who will slip of late in the year. Get a player like macrae his 4k more and will score more points as he does play mid time sometimes.

Other note your rooks will change depending on how good players do in the JLT Cup. Good luck and have the best 2017 season.

Sorry about Grundy I was looking at wrong team. LOL. But TMac I can't see passing Gibbo maybe 2 years ago but last year he had a poor year and with hawks loosing some veteran mid gibbo will be playing more time there and last year when he did play mid he was a god, he won hawks like 5 games doing that. Lynch started off beast but then his last 5 games look at the scores.

These are good scores but Macrae will put up better and more consistent scores this year and I'm sure of it.

I dont like McGrath as i dont think he'll play, but i can D/G if needed. 3 premo DEF setup, i also like Howe/Laird/Vince
I think Jobe can jump back up to 100-105, TBH i think he'll do better than Heppell. 5 premo mids to start.
2 Set and Forget, love Sandi but not comfortable with him in my side.
I like my 3 FWD "premos", think both Caddy/Heeney can jump an extra 10+ points.. i'll be happy with 90-95 from them.
wasnt sure who to pick between McCarthy/Knight/McLuggage/WHE/Ainsworth...

I'm not sold on Jobe but if you are I think he will be a nice pod as I feel like not many of the top players will start him yet a lot of casual players will (if that makes sense)

Would actually look at Bowes if I was you instead of McCarthy kids a gun and should score 70-75 in my opinion which has locked him into my side. He is a likely round one starter at this stage too.

Apart from that it looks like a solid side too me man :)

Thoughts on the squad please.

Not too happy with the DEF but it's really the best i can do
Happy with the MIDS, M1-M6 IMO will avg 110+
went with Preuss over Strnadica because i'd rather my Rookies make money than have be a loophole donut
Happy with the FWDs.

3 Fwd Tiger Players, ouch I would look to get rid of one or put Narks to Ruc and remove Gawn as gawn is playing more fwd and sc scores arn't as good as his price is and with the left over money use it to improve Backline.

Def still needs a bit of work.  Better options available.   Also downgrade Gawn to Goldy.  Both will lose money in double ruck setup. Could even consider Grundy/Martin if they go sole ruck setups.   


I have ended up with a 2-0-6 setup for DEF.     6-2-3 for Mids.


Rookies still unclear especially in Fwds.
