Does anyone think the likes of Nathan Hrovat or Cam Ellis-Yolmen amongst others could prove to be smart PODs? A lot of people fell into the De Goey/Crouch traps last year, do these guys seem to be doing the same?

Hrovat reportedly killed it in a practice match: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/teams/north-melbourne/nathan-hrovat-ben-mckay-shine-in-north-melbourne-practice-match-against-werribee/news-story/9cc934ddf199c5870f756e812dc7c9ef

I had been looking into hrovat, he averaged 75 in his second season. He needs to be playing a fair bit of midfield to be worth his price. needs to go 80+ to be a success. No doubt he can do it, just dependant of his role. CEY may not be in the crows' 22?

Hrovat interestes me. But I will probably stay well clear. Avoided Degoey, Crouch, Libba and similar last year and worked for me.

Would rather pay 210k for Hoskin-Elliot, 160k for J.Stewert.

Or spend a little extra and go Roughead or Ryder who have that outside chance of being a keeper.

At that price they need to turn into keepers, which I can't see happening

If you want mid/fwd DPPs then rookies such as Bowes and Drew with the likes of Macrae and Dahl is the way to go.

And also Ainsworth and possibly Clugg. There's plenty, such that you don't have to worry about mid-priced picks
