Its too early to make a call on any north rookies as there are 2-3 in each postion chasing the Firrioto Boomer NDS Wells roles.

If i had to punt now

Wells - Clarke
Firrito - Vikers Willis
Boomer - Turner/Garner
Petrie - Wood + Daw

Don't forget North acquired Hrovat and M.Williams who will also contribute to filling those voids.

My Fingers are crossed they dont get a game.

They will though

They have heaps of players who can play that running half-back or wing role so I can see Marley battling for a spot but surely Hrovat is almost an automatic inclusion?

Hroovat probably plays round 1 that does mean he will be getting games round 10-22

Ziebell could make the next leap, but will be monitoring the performances in the NAB

the issue with North is that you can take anyone out of their team and their gameplan wouldn't change (except maybe Goldstein) - which is why they need to reinvent themselves a bit

There's not much value in anyone there, I don't think I'll be starting a North player unless some rooks stand out preseason.

Goldy is underpriced, averages well against North's early opponents and with the new rules is every chance to go 100+. Hrovat is pretty cheap and a genuine breakout contender, but theres lots of value in the fwds this year, so for the same price Roughy is probably a better pick. Marley is well underpriced but hard to know where he sits as far as best 22 goes. Kayne Turner is having a good preseason and is priced under 200k, with recent departures he could play a few games early and make $$$. Hibberd played well in the VFL last year and was a decent player as a junior, so if he plays I reckon he'll be good for 60+ average.
