St Nick vs Tommy Mitch

This is a surprisingly tough decision.

• I'm a Swans man and have had Tommy Mitch for every game he has ever played, so no need to tell me how much of a gun he is. However, there is definitely an argument against him this year. Lewis was the only hawk to average 100+ last year, second best was Mitchell. Now they are both gone, the next best fantasy hawk (except Tommy) is Smith at an average of 89. 89! 89 is disgusting. This begs the question, are hawks getting enough of the ball/fantasy points for Tommy to step his game up another level/maintain his average? Possibly not, given that Smith and Shiels are the only (fantasy) midfielders to average 80+! Furthermore, Omeara is supposedly aiming for a round 4 return, meaning Mitchell is pretty much going to have to fend for himself. Yes, Mitchell is an inside mid and fending for himself is what they/he does best so this might not be a problem, but definitely something to ponder. What do you think Mitchell will average? More precisely, will Tom Mitch start the season off slowly coming to terms with the new team and the lack of support, before coming home like a steam train once he finds his mojo?
• You know the deal with St Nick. His average of 110 is boosted by his monster 200 in the final game last year. Yes, he is a year older, but personally I see no reason why he can't score a 200 again this year. The dude is a machine. Saints will improve which should mean they have more of the ball = more marks for Riewoldt! Furthermore, Saints have a killer early run to start the season, with most of their games being at Etihad. No travel should help keep him feeling fresh. For only 30k more than Mitchell, I can see no legitimate reason why Nick can't back up his magnificence once more, whereas there is a legitimate argument against Titch. What do you see Nick averaging?

Lots of games at Etihad? Sounds like the old legs might not pull up as well as they used to. Rooey is a machine but every player says it takes longer to recover after playing at Etihad cos the surface is so hard and slippery. He was pretty consistent last year and 200 was huge and he isn't getting any younger or better but you're probably going to get what you pay for. Who knows where Mitchell will fall at a new team that has been reshuffled but he is getting better as his last few finals showed. As long as Clarko doesn't play him in the 2's like Horse he'll score and score well. Like you said, who else is going to score in the mids at the Hawks?

It's hard to see Nick going over 110 from last year, maybe a slight reduction?
Tomitch maybe 105-110 if his last game was anything to go by. 13 tackles ntb.
