Well this was unexpected from Freo, what a fall from grace it has been. It's given Ross a big job to try and re-build this team and he's been giving younger players a run this season to try and work out which ones will take the team forward. The Dogs on the other hand just want to a) win the game and b) not get another significant injury.

When the Eagles lose on Friday it'll give the Dogs a chance to leapfrog them into 6th and get the home game against them in two weeks. But I think Freo will put up a fight in Pavlich's last game, what a champion of the game he has been :)

Just got home from the game, great atmosphere and turn out for Pavlich...horrible game though, don't think I've seen 2 worse teams skill wise playing against each other.  Turnover after turnover and soooo many out of bounds on the full, wasn't even very windy at all!

if you get the chance, watch the St Kilda v Richmond game (last week I think?). that's the worst game, skill wise, I've ever seen (or can remember)
