My Chumps

So have Atlanta conceded that Horford is leaving?

Also should we start a new thread/move to the draft thread for offseason?

Lopez is a solid C on a good deal, and Grant has potential. Obviously decided Rose wasn't in their plans and decided to re-tool around Butler. Seems alright to me. Knicks have taken a gamble, and if it comes off, they get to give a huge contract to Rose next year. Congrats!

Not sure why Indiana would trade Hill for Teague ???
Legend wanted to make the team faster than it was last year and I suppose Teague is one of the quicker guys in the league. Not much of an upgrade from Hill though

Teague is definitely an upgrade on Hill!  Teague had a down year last year and Hill gets injured all the time.  Teague was an all-star 2 seasons ago.  He was playing with a team who benched him for Schroeder and weren't hiding the fact that they wanted to trade him, had a fair bit of incentive to not give a shower at ATL.
How is Teague that much of an upgrade? Kyle Korver was an all star that year, not saying undeservedly so but just that it doesn't put him in the same basket as John Wall or someone like that
He had basically the same stats from his all star year and shot career best from 3 last season

Just my opinion.  I feel teague starts on any team in the NBA, Hill starts on about half of those teams, he's a backup and has only been starting because Indy don't have another decent PG.

Fair fair. Think they both start on an equal amount of teams, and maybe Hill could start at the 2 for some teams given his defence too.

That makes a lot more sense, I'd rather start him at SG with his 3pt range, decent defensive, but he's not a distributor.

He's the ideal PG for a team with Harden/George/LeBron type primary ball handler

Yeah exactly, thats why I rate Teague a lot higher than Hill, has a lot more to offer a team, will free up PG13 loads too.  Only thing Teague needs to improve is his post season play, if he can up that part of his game he'll be up there with the top 10 PG's in the NBA.

Anyone watch The Jump?  T-Mac told a pretty cool story.  2 days before he was drafted Jerry Krause had a meeting with him saying he was going to trade Scottie Pippen for him to play with MJ at the Bulls.  MJ caught wind of it, called Krause and vetoed it, haha!  That following season the Bulls went on to have the "best" regular/post season ever.  Moral of the story, listen to MJ, lol.  Would've been pretty cool seeing T-Mac alongside MJ though!

How awesome was this season...

1. Team won a record 73 regular season games
2. First ever unanimous MVP
3. A top 15 player of all time scored 60 points in his final ever game
4. The 73-9 team came back from 3-1 down in the conference finals including an all-time epic in game 6
5. Then blew a 3-1 lead in the finals, something that has never happened before.
6. An all-time epic game 7 of the finals including two historic plays
7. 2nd best player ever, bringing a title to a city that hadn't won in over 50 years.

Amazing.
