use the spare cash to upgrade tippett to hmac or clark.

risky but if all works out, you only have to use roughly 12 trades (6 downgrades and 6 upgrades) for those cash cows to turn into premiums.

still too risky to follow through with.

i reckon you could probably have 5 rookies in the midfield on the ground...

it's possible. i'm not doing it. but it is possible.

downgrade carazzo or shaw to kenelly and downgrade franklin to dangerfield and upgrade morabito to swan.

Lock swan in as captain.

I must admit I have been thinking about something similar.  12 trades for 6 upgrades and 8 trades left for injuries etc.  My thoughts is that this is more an overall score strategy and will prob deliver you early losses in league play.

For this team I would use the 160k you got left over and upgrade Tippet to a HMac, Clark.  I would also look at another option for Carrazo as well - I am personally not 'sold on him'.

Once upgrading Tippet and Carrazo, you would have guns across 3 out of 4 lines.

I am planning 6 and have thought of 7.  8 seems bad mostly because of captain choice and inability to take advantage of good trades on other lines during the season. I think this season is going to kill people who are too conservative in the mids though.
