Was about to crack it with Stewart but he's gained a magical 12 points. If only they gave him some decent TOG.

Why are North they unlucky?

Had 11 more free kicks and 6 more scoring shots.

Norf appeared tonight and Hawthorn capitalised.

Had the win gifted to them on a platter and couldn't deliver.

They had a couple of players out but it takes a core squad of 30 players to win flags. They showed tonight that they need to improve a lot to be a premiership contender.

They have played 3 games against premiership contenders in the last 4 weeks and have failed the test in all 3.

yeah I see what you mean, more unlucky in the sense they had another bloke at the other end kicking 5 straight as weird as that sounds
I know kicking points is bad football and all that but to have a guy kicking straight at the other end is a little unlucky. it was more North lost the game rather than Hawks winning it. like us in the 09 grannie

"AFL will review MatchCom recordings of umpires in full to examine all interactions / conversations from last night's game at Etihad Stadium.

AFL will also ask NMelb FC to provide AFL with complete detail of the exchange that coach Brad Scott referred to in his post-match comments."

Missed this as i had to do a taxi run so can anyone shed any light on these comments from the AFL.

Thanks RD.

Agree that Thomas was not paid a couple of head highs one particularly obvious though.  Could have had an effect on the game as when you compare the free kicks Sicily got at the other end, and I have no argument with them,  to the ones that went unpaid to Thomas.

I have never understood why a coach would come out and publicly criticize the umpires. It just makes you look like a giant sook. If you have an issue raise it privately.

Yeah I hope the AFL nail his arse for those comments, we don't won't to end up like rugby league where the coaches can just unload on the refs whenever they lose. I'm looking at you Daly ya big sook!

Giant sook - first thing that comes to mind when I think of Brad Scott. He's such a sore loser
