Since I took over at Pacific, there's definitely been some up's and down's at the trade table!

GOOD:
Pacific give: Brad Sheppard
London give: Rory Laird
Certainly our best trade over the recent times at Pacific! Laird is as valuable as it gets down back, am stoked to have him on the team!

Cape Town give: Cameron Guthrie + NAT #9 + NAT #34
Pacific give: Billy Longer + Cameron McCarthy + NAT #59
This is a good'un. Guthrie has been excellent in the mids for us and I've got my eye on him getting defence status next year!

Pacific trade: Jack Redden, Jarryd Blair + Pick 51
Tokyo trade: Steven Motlop, Matt Suckling, Pick 48 + Pick 66
This one is looking good! Going to West Coast has ruined Redden's SC production, whereas Motlop has shown a very high ceiling and is currently in his fourth straight 80+ season in a row. He just needs to remove his howlers and he'll be a premium. Suckling is very handy being able to play back and forward!

BAD:
New Delhi trade: Jarryd Blair, Terry Milera and Pick 25
Pacific trade: Shane Savage, Zach Williams, Daniel Talia and Pick 42
This one hurts.. Certainly helped kickstart the New Delhi rebuild! Williams and Savage are looking like being great young defenders, meanwhile Blair has been average and Terry Milera isn't even in the comp. Howler! Even Talia has become good.. Ugh.

Pacific trade: Jack Viney, Jackson Paine and Pick 60
Berlin trade: Andy Otten, Lindsay Thomas and Pick 15
I don't want to talk about it :P

But none of this really matters, because drafting The Bont at 8 beats any trade! :P

Ricochet

Since meow just reminded me

NDT give: Dylan Buckley
New York give: Koby Stevens

and then Stevens for Scully

Drafting JOM at 5 then packaging him with 31 to get Fyfe takes the cake :P

THE BAD:
Beijing give: Pick #5 ID + Sam Naismith + John Butcher
PNL give: Matthew Jaensch + Clay Smith + Cameron Shenton
This is easily the worst trade but I'd argue that it would've turned out even had Jaensch not done his ACL and retired. We only got about 5 games of use out of him, while Pick #5 was used on Peter Wright. Probably would have picked a Jordan De Goey type if we kept the pick who would be a handy addition to our midfield.
Yeah, given if I didn't downgrade #5 to #6, I still would have gone Laverde. Shame about Jaensch, as he was just finding his feet before injuries cut him down. Clay just can't get any luck... He could be quite a handy player as meow knows.

I've also noticed, meow and I have similar tastes sometimes when it comes to youths :P. Was there in the initial draft (Shiel and Treloar) and then our bias with some other youths haha.
