Can't believe people are trading this guy out?!
For me, I'm 1000% keeping him until his bye at least, will be awesome cover next week when he comes back fresh (if he's given the week off at all) and they play GWS in Melbourne Rd 13 in which running defenders can score decent against. The ball is going to be in the bombers back half for most of the game so my theory is he scores well.
I have Adams still, so personally I'm considering running either Tipa and Adams all year as d7 f7 swingmen so when injuries come in the back half of the year. Two guys covering your forwards or defense averaging 80s is nothing to be sneezed at..

In my situation I am downgrading AMT to Collins who has scored similarly in the 2 games he has played isn't a bad move.

Then can use the cash to upgrade to bring a premo mid in and only then have 1 rookie left on field. Why would I keep him?

Agree King Robbo..Keeping Adams and Tippa as D7 F7 swingman / cover for the run home makes perfect sense..
Solid plan !!!

Hmm you're judging 2 games over 11 in terms of a scoring average? I'd be careful with that idea.. Not much of a sample size.
I'd expect Collins to average around the 50-70 at best where as with Tipa you can easily bank 70 per week and you have dpp.

In saying that, Collins is a must have, purely because of his JS, but bringing him onto the field is a move fraught with danger..

Do you have anyone else in your backline you can trade out? Ruggles? Byrne? DBJ?

Lot of positives both ways keeping or trading it looks like , his price is getting up there now also his B/E's don't think he will get much plumper so if he is rested I will turn him into McVeigh I think with 1 trade that will leave me with Collins , Tucker or Ruggles on the field and I can live with that till my last upgrade in the backs

What do we think of "sideways"ing tippa to suckling?

I did that in DT but I went Hewett to Suckling in SC.

I am finding it difficult to trade him out because my love for him as a person and as a footballer is clouding my SC judgement ::)

Was honestly going to trade him out last week but couldn't for that reason.
Ended up going Hewitt out instead even though he had the lower BE, and it paid
off very well considering Hewitt got injured shy of his BE.
Trading out AMT just seems like bad karma from here on out.
