I have 15 trades and 68k left. I blew a huge chunk to bring in Heath Shaw........

Walla, Libba, Hopper (well one of Davis/Smith/Hewett), Kerridge and Kennedy the only guys that need upgrading.

Brodie Smith, Gaz, Mummy, Barlow, Robbo and maybe Hall based on his last 3 my questionable premos. Most of them are in a dip of form and Mummy is not monstering teams leaving him probably in the top of the 2nd tier of rucks. I'll assess once I have all my upgrades locked and loaded and see how many trades I have left. I am hoping to keep 4 for the last couple of weeks.

Alright so I have 16 trades left and need 4 mids and a defender. Still have a ton of cash locked up in rookies though with Kerridge M6, Adams D6 and then guys like Tippa and DBJ at F7/D7, and Libba M5. Should easily bring in all 4 mids over the next 3 weeks or 3 mids and a defender depending on how Adams is performing. So looking at having the side completed by round 14 with 8 trades left, and then hopefully Hopper goes out for a stronger M9

Libba doesn't need to be upgraded IMO. Would be an excellent M9

One more backman, prob Docherty, Gibson or Laird, keep Adams on field at this stage with tippa and Ruggles on the pine. will trade DBJ.
Two out of Pendles, Neale, Ward and Gray to finish Mids and two outta Kennedy, Dahls and Martin to finish forwards.

I'm happy keeping Kerridge at f6 at least till up to the byes, looking at keeping Adams, Hopper and Petracca as bench cover.
Defense needs some work, looking at a range of players (Rance, McVeugh, Laird, Boyd) but it will also come down to the bye structure.
M8 - Looking at getting one of Selwood, Ward, Sheil, Hannerbery - again depends on byes and $$$ in the bank
