if he is i expect he'll play most of the season but not sure whether he's worth it. thoughts?

he is fit as far as i know, dont know if he will play round 1, if he does play lots this year will be one of the best pick ups.

Wouldn't you just wait until he shows something first?
i.e/ His value won't go up unitl he had played 3 games.
If he plays 2 decent games and looks like continuing that trend then you could trade to get him and use the spare cash to upgrade to a premium elsewhere.
I'd prefer to look at him that way rather than having him in my side, he gets injured or something, then you have to dump him and there is nothing else available at the same price.
In all honesty, I rather just forget him, there is plenty of other options around.
