Chapman now that he has been gunning it? Lowest NAB score was 38 (Subbed off at half time, meaning a full game would have roped him around 76). Other then that he has scored 77 113 and 124 - Now currently i have Deledio but am considering trading him for Chapman and freeing up 20,000? Also i heard that Deledio was having groin troubles during the NAB challenge match, hope it's not OP =/

What should I do? :/

mEnty

If Deledio has problems obviously best to trade out, but even though Chappy can play gun games and looks the goods - at the slightest injury Geelong will nurse him. IMO will miss 4 games min this year. Where did you get your info re Deledio?

Murphington

I got told that he wasn't running full pace and kept rubbing his groin, maybe a strain or just sore. Praying it's not a worst case scenario of OP =(

mEnty

Some guys rub their groins daily - not always fitness related - lets hope its not now as he is one of the only premium forwards I like from the get go.

Murphington

Ill wait till scores from the game come out before deciding. 433,000 seems like alot and i don't wanna get screwed over if something is wrong with him, lol =D

bluebaggers

Deledio is a gun, I had him from the start of the season last year and it was his breakout year.  But he'll be targeted this year.. I dont expect the same average... Cousins will take away from his scores too... at 433K it too much... Chappy is a trooper and how can you predict Chap will miss 4 games.. thats a load of trash...

Pick up Deledio when hes down to 360-380k

Murphington

Downgrading him to Chapman a good idea? Or is he likely to drop too. He seems to be gunning it on an ABC level. =D

mEnty

by all means Blue, pick him up, hope I can play you in eliminator when he has a slightly sore hammy so the cats rest him.

Murph - If you were going to trade out Deledio, think about

1) Richo, yes he is old but he doesn't have the recent history of soft tissue injuries

2)Stevie J

bluebaggers

Chappy has shed 5 kilos this summer and has primed himself for more time in the midfield.  The geelong trainers would have been all over his hammies and if not they should be looking for jobs at the local surf club gym....

Chappy is good to go and all the wary people will miss out...

love4thegame

he will be a 100+ easy, everyone stresses so much over an injury, thats why we pick star benchman to back them up for a week or two if this happens.

shog

Except when he misses a stint of four games and you lose 200 points because of it.

mEnty

Agree with Shog - I think people concentrate too much on AVERAGE score when they should look at season TOTAL score. That is what matters most. Think about it.

Murphington

2006 - 22 games
2007 - 16 games
2008 - 17 games

Although whos to say that he wont have troubles this year, he is also cheap for his potential output =/
