Is anyone else worried that Ruggles will be the one to make way for Enright next week?

Purple 77

If Essendon get up here, the amount of embarrassment I feel about losing to them in Round 2 will be cut in half.

Moves like that will help him out. That was pretty good from Ruggles.

J Kolo was a late in, so I reckon he might make way for him

Well at least I hope that's the case

Is it just me or are most of the Geelong players getting seriously burnt by CD today?

Danger 67, Duncan 49, Blitz 38 and I just saw Ruggles kick long and not register a single point

Dea was ahead of Tippa, but has been non existent this quarter.

The decision to field Papley over Tippa hurts right now

I did the same thing. Apparently some doubt on Barlow so I might get his points regardless.

Walla going to outscore anyone on my field down back  ::)

The thing is they may have been expecting for Kersten to not play so Kolo was never actually dropped. It won't surprise me if they dump Stanley and let Blicavs be the second ruck, but in terms of like for like Ruggles makes the most sense and he didn't play a blinder cementing his spot.

Cats didn't look too switched on today. Seemed to be a bit lethargic and very fumbly, could have been a good percentage builder but will take the 4 points none the less.
Credit where it is due though, Essendon did apply a lot of pressure around the ball.
