Keep Howe or Upgrade to Lonergan?

So I didn't have any real carnage this week (touch wood) so I have a couple of luxury trades.

At the moment I am looking at trading Brown down to Hartley and then looking at trading Howe to Lonergan. 

It seems like Howe doesn't have great job security (even if he gets named today) and Lonergan is spending more time in the mids with GC.

Not too many Defender Options this year and can't quite afford Sheridan   :(
