bit even sure if i really want to don Fantasy this year but here is my first team

For a team with the best two rucks and 5 premo mids it's good but I don't agree with a few of the young players.

The forward line is an issue. You're going to be in strife playing 3 sub 170k players in the forward line each week. I can only think of a few who have a chance at playing and they don't have good scoring potential at all.

If you have the money you really need to be looking at the Simpkin, Lamb, Kennedy, Petracca types at the very least at F4, if not F4 and F5. If you don't have the money you might need to find it.

actually looking at it now you probably need to look at an extra premo in your fwd line. having Merrett as your 2nd forward is risky, and pretty much what Craigy said

Robbo is f2 technically but it wont change for some reason

i hate the pricing in fantasy think i just might not do it

A couple of suggestions

In Dreamteam I have set and forget ruckman Martin and Goldy but in Fantasy there just isn't enough money to go around to justify having them both, I would suggest you downgrade one of them for Lobbe only because I cant see him dropping any cash and it gives you more money to spend elsewhere.

I would look at downgrading one of Boyd or Shaw for one of these guys .. Yeo, Duryea, Rosa .. i don't have either of Shaw or Boyd just cant justify the money on defenders, just think at some stage you will be able to get them cheaper and i think Boyd will get rested at some stage especially with the bye rounds being later in the season. .. my personal opinion.

I would also look at downgrading one of your midfield premo's, maybe Steven?, don't tell Bill man  :-X i think 5 premo's is too many in AFL Fantasy, just not enough cash to go around.

Maybe one of these guys ? .. Libba, B.Crouch, Gibbs, Bastinac

You should have some decent cash to upgrade a couple of your onfield rooks then .. Ellis, Kommer, Wright, Keays, Cunningham

Im not saying they're not good rooks, put them on your bench if you want them, im just saying that i think you need some more players guaranteed to start round 1. We wont know with rooks anyway until closer to round 1.

Surprised you don't have Bird, you don't think he's best 22 for us ? i think he can go 80 easily and at 320k he seems like a bargain to me especially with forward status.

Yeah looks alright

Something about you backline scares me a tad but its not too different from mine, very similar structure, I have Bartel as my only premo.

Rucks are good, some people will prefer Martin over Goldy but North have pretty good fixtures early on.

Mids are okay

Still think Bird could come into your forward line and give you some more cash to upgrade another mid rookie, you obviously don't like Birdy, time will tell wether he is worthy of your team. Or someone of a similar price, not sure if 4 premo forwards is the best structure for the forward line.

These are all my own personal feelings towards the structure of your team so its up to you wether you think they are worthy suggestions or not. Im finding it harder to upgrade my whole team with AFL Fantasy these days, they keep changing things to make it harder, up to you wether you think guns and rooks are the way to go. I have found that a good mix of premo's, midpricers and rooks have worked for me in the past.
