Long time reader - First time poster sc16. Thoughts?!

Hey Lads, Just thought I could use another set of eyes to dissect my side.

DEF: I've been tossing up between Enright and Rance but I'm going Enright for the POD. Locked in Bartel but 17 games isn't enough for me so had to boot. Harwood is a wait and see but I like him for now. As for Shaw, I just don't think he can keep a 112 avg up and see him as an early upgrade target.

MID: M1-4 are locks for me. I'm really liking Wines at that price despite a recent groin scare. The ol' wait and see for Crouch and Mills is in until I see Hopper and Parish.

RK: A month straight I went with the no Goldy, too expensive theory, but the more I think about it the more it seems easier to go Lobbe to Martin/NN than to Goldy, so he's in for now.

FWD: Martin and Barlow locks, Hopefully I'm not getting sucked into the Bud hype but he's in for now although he could be a Greene or Wingard who I have had for most of pre nab.

As for rookies they're just place holders...

Hey mate, welcome to FF!

I'll get right to it:

DEF - Looks pretty good, Enright should be a nice POD, Simmo always produces an average around 90-95 every single year, KK should improve a bit more from last year. Harwood if named round 1 should be a great cash cow as well. Rookies look solid thus far. No Bartel though? Averaged around 96 without that injury game last year, so is well underpriced. Only issue I guess is whether he'll play every game or not. I see him playing more than 17 games easily myself, if fully fit may miss 1 game but that's it imho.

MID - Looks really good. Personally, I prefer Prestia, Shiel, Parker over Wines, but can see the appeal, and he could very well be a great starting pick this year.

RUCK - I'm a bit concerned about Lobbe, as he had that good SC year before the HTA rule, and I don't think he can go any higher than a 90 avg or so this year as #1 ruck. Depends what you want from him I guess, if you're happy with 90 then he should be good, but if you were expecting closer to 95-100, then he may not be such a great pick.

FWD - Standard forwards, nothing to complain about here.

Overall a pretty good start! Apart from Lobbe, I like it. I guess you could maybe look at something like Crouch to a rookie, and Lobbe to a NicNat, Martin, etc. Apart from that, good stuff 8)

With a few changes I can go with either buddy + NN or greene + Martin (ruck)...

Yeah I'd go with Buddy and NicNat, just because I don't have much confidence in Greene for SC. NicNat and Martin should both be fairly even.

Naitanui, Gawn (Grimley)

Barlow, Gray, Hall, Wells, Kennedy, Kerridge (Tipa, Adams) $5,600 CAP LEFT

TEAM B:

Laird, Bartel, Rich, Weitering, Dea, Hartley (Brown, Ruggles)

Fyfe, Dangerfield, Ablett, Pendlebury, Shiel, Rockliff, Mills, Menadue (Gresham, Keays, Davis)

Naitanui, Gawn (Grimley)

Barlow, Gray, Hall, Wells, Kennedy, Kerridge (Tipa, Adams) $3,400 CAP LEFT (gresham over hewett)

So basically weighing up shaw, libba and crouch vs pendles, bartel and menadue
There's no Goldy in either side due to the fact I had pick one in last nights draft and got Goldy so even if he goes beserk I'll be happy haha.

Team A for me, Libba and Crouch should average similar to pendles and menadue and shaw should be the number 1 defender again

With option 2, can you turn Shiel + Keays into Libba + Crouch?

I just feel that someone like yourself needs Pendles in their team ;)

Having headaches with gaz and pendles. I can't seem to fit in both yet I don't know which one to leave out. Would love everyone's thoughts on the whole team in general.

Only $600 as well which leaves me vulnerable....
