Alright I'm gonna be brutal with you here. Rosa looked crap, Aish is a definite no-go, Yeo is not going to score that well I don't think, 99% chance Gore won't play round one, Mathieson has fractured his cheekbone and almost certainly won't play, and I don't think Sam Reid will get a game either. Rest of the team is solid.

I'd do the following if it were me:

Downgrade Aish to Mitch Brown (Ess), upgrade Rosa to a premo back who is a little more pricey (Simpson, Suckling, etc.), upgrade Bailey Dale to Mills, bench one of the 125k options (Gore probably) and then bench Reid and play Menadue.

Not sure how much cash this leaves you with but it should give you enough to move on Matheison, swap Simpkin to the mids and play him, and then bring in Wells/Kerridge or maybe someone even more expensive to play on your field in the forwards.

Ive quickly put this together prett much from what you have suggested. It leaves me with $7,000.

Im not so concerned at this point with rookies as I will be waiting until teams are named to fine tune that area...

Another alternative is to leave out Kerridge/De Goey for a low price rookie and upgrade Simpson/Yeo to Boyd.

Ok here are some possible changes you could look at:

Yeo to Sheridan due to him going to yo-yo throughout the year...Sheridan should easily give you 80+ a game.
Simpkin I would swap for Oliver (Dees)
You need somehow to get Danger into that midfield.
I would try n upgrade De Goey to Hall
S Reid I would swap for someone like McCarthy (Cats)

Looks a lot better. I'd swap Yeo for someone like Sheridan (as stated above me) which will free up some cash for you to use, but other than that looking solid mate!

Possibly wells instead of de goey or kerridge, if it was de goey would free up more cash to spend elsewhere or keep in the war chest

Sorry guys, Ive been having a brain fart a few times today. I have re-posted my new team in a thread I already created...


About a week ago I posted my first team. Ive made a few changes as described below. Tell me what you reckon. Rookies are dependent on being named round 1 and of course if they have a place as a regular player.

$48,000 in the bank.



Significant changes include;
Fyfe to Pendles
Aaron Hall in for Toby Greene
Swapped Simpkin to the forwards and upgraded Wells to Sam Gray (Also considering Levi Greenwood for that spot. Tough one to call for me...)
Yeo binned for Sherriden.

Tell me what you reckon guys? Happy to take advice on the rookies as this is something i dont follow close enough even though it is vital! Cheers

Looks like a pretty good team. Nice and balanced.

Maybe try and get a DPP link mid-fwd. Even if its a rookie.
