The speedster suffered another setback this week following two years of hamstring troubles and will miss the next fortnight as a precaution.

“I just want him to be ready to go by the end of the year for next year,” Alan Richardson said.

“So no (he won’t play for St Kilda in 2016), because this year was all about bullet proofing his body so he can have a long and successful career for us.

taking the conservative approach which is fine by me. we don't need him for this year, we need to make sure he's full capable of reaching his best when we're challenging again
