Saints 2015 Draft, Trade and Delisting Thread

Might as well talk about who we could pick with Pick 14. No need for the other picks, as we will only be using them to secure Bailey Rice, and the other will be to upgrade Sinclair. So this year it looks like we will only be getting 2 youngsters. But we will be getting 2 through the Rookie Draft (Depending if we drop Saad, or if we could be redrafting Ray as a rookie)

Pick 14 Options;

1. Clayton Oliver - Stoppage beast, will help support Armitage, Dunstan and Steven. And is really good resting forward.

2. Harley Balic - Classy Midfielder, will be a longer term prospect. But will pay out HUGE if it goes well.

3. Ryan Burton - Gun Medium Forward, could of been top 5, but had a serious leg injury at the start of the year. Good agility for his height, so wouldn't hinder Membrey and will give Billings the chance to go into the Midfield.

4. Kieran Collins - Would complete our defensive talls for a VERY long time, directly behind Weitering in KPD for the draft. Could be too hard to pass up on.

5. Darcy Tucker - Pacey outside midfielder, who can play in the defense. Would probably be an upgrade on what Nathan Wright can do.

ST KILDA has announced three further list changes ahead of the club’s first list lodgement on October 30.

Josh Saunders and Farren Ray have been removed from the Primary List, while Ahmed Saad has been removed from the Rookie List.

Contracted for 2016, the Saints have committed to re-drafting Saunders as a rookie, and have left the door ajar to re-draft Ray also as a rookie.

Pick 14 Options V.2;

1. Rhys Mathieson - Contested Beast, rated #1 for Clearances in the TAC Cup. Only downside is his tank, but few seasons will help that.

2. Darcy Tucker- Outside pace that we desperately need, can play roles in the back line too. But could see him turned into a midfielder

3. Harley Balic- Class midfielder, ex-basketballer so he's good with his surroundings, very good off his foot and can see the goals well.

4. Kieran Collins - Key defender who will be a lock in with Goddard and  Carlisle for nearly a decade if we decide to go with him.
