They're the only ones I'd be looking at. If you don't have hanners, Pendles etc they surely pick themselves.

Picked Cripps in the poll - should dominate the Bombers this weekend.

Due to funds I'm going Gibbs myself, hopefully gets a few touches himself!

Changed my mind - with some DPP action in comes Boomer :'( :'(

All comes done to who your playing and what you need.

If you need a high ceiling id take Cripps, if you want an almost locked 110 go Treloar, if you need DPP look at options.

Id avoid Boomer as that is a really risky play.

I don't have Sloane (or any trades left for that matter!) but this would be my advice to anyone trading him.

Have a look at your final opponents team, work out who your respiective PODs are and then make a decision about whether you think you have them covered as is or not. If you think you have the better set of PODs, then you neutralise the best POD player they have. If you think they have the edge on you, you pick another POD player you think is most likely to give you a leg up.

Eg say in the midfield PODs Team A has Parker, Ward, Jelwood and Smitchell, While Team B has Rocky, JPK, DanHan and Gray. I would say team B is stronger than team A. So if I was in Team B, I would be neutralising Parker or Jelwood, if I was in Team A I would be going for broke and getting someone like Neale.

Good call. My opponent has a POD Treloar in the middle so whoever I pick is up against him I think.  I also have 2 trades though so will probably get a defender because it's the only part of the ground I have any slight weaknesses left I think.

Depending how you stack up I'd be pretty tempted to cancel out Treloar, 3 and 5 round average both >120 and up against the Hawks could mean a bit of contested footy...
