I'm a fan of going cheap in the backline but I'm not 100% on some of those picks. KK might be a good pick as well as Seedsman and Aish if best 22 could also be good pick ups and I would consider both. How ever Atley is one of those guys that looks like he is going to break out but never does. I was on that roller coast 2 years ago and he is not worth it. Is Zak Jones even best 22? I don't think so.

Midfield is very strong.

Rucks are unique but could pay off.

I like the forward line apart from Bird. I see him playing a tagging role and not scoring very well. would prefer Leuy who gives you ruck cover and has a higher ceiling.

Good start mate. Would love your thoughts on my team.

As usual MS provided a lot of good feedback.  Agree need to review the backs.  Just not comfortable with 4 PODs but certainly KK can improve depends how much time he gets up the ground and who does the run out of defence role.    Seedsman can see improvement at new club and same with Aish.    But run the risks of all three improving?   If you are going to do it the backline is the place for it so good luck.

Superstrong mids and would recommend dropping one for another cashcow or upgrade to rucks.   Gawn could manage another 100 year and Nicols 90.   but that will leave you 30 points down against a Goldy NicNat or Goldy Martin combination.

I think if you take a look at some of the structures going around and include a lot of the picks you have you will have a really good team.

Only picks that arent the best options are Gawn, Nicholls, KK and aish... Gawn and Nicholls wont be top 5 ruckmen meaning youd have to trade up and the other two have questions over their roles and job security! Atley is a no go zone...

A lot of potential with this side, just dont believe this stucture will stand up!

That defence has a lot of potential...but I don't see it working out. Particularly the Atley pick, think he needs to become a top tier defender instead, such as a McVeigh, Simpson, Bartel, etc.

Very strong mids, I'd drop one to a rookie to help with upgrading Atley (and other areas).

Do you see both Gawn and Nicholls as keepers? That's two trades needed at least in your rucks, as there is no chance they'll match guys like Goldy, Stefan, NicNat, Jacobs, etc. And they won't make a lot of cash either.

Fairly strong forwards, personally I see Joey as an upgrade target, but if he comes out of the blocks strong, you'll look like a genius.

The lack of points from rucks hurts you, whilst having to use trades to fix this problem may hurt you. Midfield will be interesting as it depends on how many newbies coaches are prepared to blood early in the season now that there is no vest. You could be right with the extra gun vs one less rookie

Ringo

Rucks are your issues as has been highlighted. You will need at least 4 of your 30 trades to upgrade here to keep pace with mist coaches.

Would be tempted to drop one of Wines or Selwood to a rookie playing and upgrading one of your rucks to a gun prem. Selwood alwsys seems to have a lapse mid season before coming home strong.

Backs concern me a little too as not convinced Jones is in Swans best 22 although Rhys Shaws retirement may help his cause,
