How are we feeling heading towards the match Saturday night? I'm quietly confident we can get it done - obviously helps we don't have to play them at Etihad.

Sauce vs no ruckman seems like the matchup that could really help us out. Tex is probably a key as usual.

So are there any changes you guys would make? Do the young kids (Knight, Atkins) keep their spot? Do we unleash Griggy in our biggest match of the season? Plenty to think about!

Got my tickets, accom and flights all sorted. Should be a ripper match! Let's win this one and see where it takes us - our best is certainly good enough 8)

Looking forward to it but it going to be a very tough campaign. Up against Hawks/West Coast if we win this week then Sydney/Freo the week after.

I reckon we are in with a good chance this week and wouldn't be disappointed if we don't go further than that. Next few years looking positive for this club.

Can't wait, got my tickets booked as well! Been a long couple of years since no finals so this is huge.

With Roughead going out, I wonder they might look at bringing Minson in to at least give a contest to Sauce or go with Campbell.

Not sure on our changes, I'd like to see Grigg in for Henderson and push Smith back to take the kick-ins. I'm nervous every time Henderson has the ball and saw so many weak efforts by him on the weekend and it won't stand up in finals footy.

To be honest, I am just so glad we made it after what this club has been through. Win or lose, I will be proud. In saying that, I think we will be beat them and if we do, I don't expect to get much further in the finals but there is certainly a bright future.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW BEAUTY! Ripper game.

Grigg in for Atkins this week surely... Gotta have another big bodied mid vs the Hawks, and Atkins looked kinda out of place on Saturday.

Grazz

Excited and nervous all rolled into one. Feel we are a good shot at upsetting Hawthorn but well aware of how big a task it is particularly playing them after a loss. They are a great side but think they are a little off their best at the minute. No Gunston helps us out a bit. We're going to have to be better than last week, we need to find the form that enabled us to dismantle West Coast's game and apply that sort of pressure to the Hawks which will hopefully put enough pressure on their kicking as they are elite at hitting targets if the pressure isn't on. Our mids have been very good this year but the last couple of games we've been rolled in centre clearances so they need to lift this week to be a real chance. I hope we can get up I really do, I think things open up for us a little if we can get past Hawthorn this week. Freo over there isn't as scarey as Hawthorn.
Wouldn't mind seeing Griggy get a run meself this week.

#6
Lever for Mackay and Grigg/Lyons for Atkins. Grigg/Lyons sub.

Bit stiff on Atkins though, he will know what to expect now and suspect he will benefit from last game. Wouldn't mind him to keep his spot but reckon he may be dropped.

Lyons in at Atkins expense, happy to see Lyons get a gig, would like to see him start and maybe get the red vest.

Mackay again if we are playing him.

TomK

Yep, Mackay sub again. Although he shouldn't even be playing, 6 disposals from 42% game time against the Dogs. Spud.

Seems like it now, his foot skills would have perfect against the Hawks.
