Yes I understand he has a shin injury but I believe he will be set for round 1
Barlow - Why? Barlow made 10 tackles last game..that is great but a contested mark is much better and less need to tackle. I do not think coach will round 1 secure him.

As for when sides are released it it normally on a Thursday, however because it is the first match of the season played on Thurs Carlton/Rich will most likely be on Wed.
