A finish under lights! Twilight is dog to get to during the regular season because you can't really do anything in the afternoon, but it's the best time slot I think. Just like cricket matches finishing on Day 5 in fading light, the GF finishing under lights is just like the best.

Am in 2 minds on this.  Like PB have found twilight games the most annoying to get too mainly because of logistics with when to eat etc as it spans usual meal times as well.  Added to the fact that you can not plan to do anything else on the night or earlier in the afternoon.

Really is the twilight GF the first step in getting to a night GF? (Remember a twilight GF will interupt sevens news so cann not see them wanting it to continue.)

As a West Australian I like the current setup! Fire up the barbie just before 12, get everything cooked and ready to go for bounce down around 12:30 :)

Yeah, I'd live with a twilight GF (please don't have a night GF though, it should be something the kids can enjoy) - but much prefer the current set up.

plus if it was at night it would clash with many a young couples' wedding plans!!!   ;)
(yep, a friend of mine is getting married on AFL GF day and she purposefully made the ceremony at 4.30pm AWST so no-one would miss the GF!!! top chick!!!)

She still scheduled on GF day, so not a top chick. I would not let them do that if I had a say in the day.

I still think a start that is later than current would be cooler 8)

I wouldn't mind Twilight but I don't want night, and I kind of also see it as a step towards a night GF.

Hard to judge as I've obviously never been to a grand final under lights. I do know that the atmosphere (at the ground) at a day grand final is far far better than a night prelim, but that might just be the nature of the day

If they changed it to a night game half the country would miss it from drinking too much all day. Way rather afternoon as it is although Twighlight wouldnt be too bad
