Majority of my premo's got the job done this week scoring big tons but unheard of is a perfect round with Gray, Shiel and Selwood yet again failing. Gray had a valid excuse getting knocked out by Gibbs which was rather annoying considering I could have saved myself 50k waiting a week to get him. Shiel had a stinker but Selwood is taking all the heat with his run of poor scores. Had planned to trade Cripps to Sloane this week but there's no way I can trade him on the back of a 136 so gonna ditch Selwood for Sloane instead and hope Cripps can keep it up. Even if Selwood gets going I think Sloane can easily match him so the only way I feel this trade could backfire is if Sloane gets injured which is always a possibility but hopefully doesn't happen. I need to move McGovern to defence so gonna trade Tosh to Rough. I'm not a big fan of key forwards because they're inconsistent but the price is right and he has a solid scoring history. Currently sitting 2nd on the ladder in my cash league and so long as I remain in top 4 will hold off making any further trades with only 8 remaining.

With only 8 trades left I really should hold Sloane but that wouldn't be any fun so I'm gonna rage him to Mundy. I'm 10k short of a straight swap of Sloane to Mundy so gonna trade the Ox. The Ox has been good but will be a massive liability come finals if he has one of his red vest games and scores f___ all. I would like to get Hodge in but I really can't afford to use an extra trade so instead I'm gonna get Rance. Then I've really got to put a stop to trading and hope for some sort of a miracle injury free 2nd half of the season.

Think I might be cursed at the moment. I seem to get a player and they last me 1 week e.g. Sloane and Roughead. Wish I hadn't of traded Roughead now but I was gonna cop a donut if I didn't so I can kind of justify it. Seeing I didn't get to trade Oxley last week gonna do it this week and I think I'll trade Cripps as well. Anyone considering Rocky or Birchall this week may want to think twice just in case my curse continues lol. Only 4 trades left I will shortly crash and burn when the carnage strikes but I'll be back to do it all again next season.

Yeah tough luck on Roughead and Sloane! If you want to trade this week Oxley and Cripps are the ones to go. And get a premium mid from the trades, not a defender.

Just gonna go for broke now and spend my bank and burn off my remaining trades. Gonna bring in GAJ and Hodge for Salem and Boston this week. Hopeful that worst case scenario Shiel is back round 20 cause I'm pretty sure I've locked in a top 4 spot in my cash league. What a huge round it was 2,395 saw me drop in overall!

2 good trades.

As for 'burning' all your trades, just make those 2 and leave the other two for a bit longer. Reckon you're going to need them and in a few weeks, Steele and Hamling might be worth enough to bring in someone else decent.

Season over for me now with GAJ going down and 0 trades, just gotta ride it out now and see what further disasters occur. Currently sitting on top of the ladder in my cash league so top 4 is locked in but I'll no doubt be making a hasty exit week 2 of finals. When I look back on my trades most of them I can account for apart from my 2 blunders of trading Newnes to Whitecross and Selwood to Sloane. Both of these had snowball effects of burning more trades cause I then had to trade Whitecross and Sloane. Next season I need to be more diligent with my trades and hope for fewer injuries.
