DEF: Shaw, Hodge, Newnes, Yeo, K Simpson, Rance (N Brown, Hamling)
MID: Fyfe, Pendlebury, Heppell, JPK, Neale, Selwood, Cripps, Rockliff (Boston, Dumont, Steele)
RUC: Goldy, Nic Nat (M Cox)
FWD: D Martin, Swan, Gray, Ziebell, Bont, T Mitchell (Lonie, Lambert)

7 trades left and $248k in the bank.

Here's what I'm thinking:

This week: Cripps out, Dangerfield in (leaning toward Danger over Ablett due to health reasons and Danger playing exclusively midfield now)
Lonie out, Caleb Daniel in

Leaves me with 5 trades and $265k in the bank.

Next week: Boston out, Bartel in, Lambert to MID (if Bartel scores around 100 and Boston doesn't play this weekend, that should be about $200k from my bank)

Leaves me with a full side, probably about $65k left in the bank for injury cover trades, Bartel on the field, Ziebell and Steele serving as cover for any injured or suspended MID/FWD.

Would love to get both Ablett and Danger in my side, but don't see a way to get there, unless I go Jelwood -> Ablett next week. But I feel like replacing Ziebell (too inconsistent and averaging around 80 the last 5 weeks) on the field is more important.

Does this sound like a good idea? Any other suggestions?

I like your idea there. Getting Ablett should be a luxury trade if you need to come finals. Get Dangerfield finish the team off. Ziebell on the bench would be awesome cover as well.

My only concern is with Danger, the guy is definitely a weapon but I think I'd prefer Hannebery for slightly less - scoring similarly but doing so in a full strength side, Danger on the other hand does seem to score less when Sloane is in the side - Sloane out in rounds 7, 8, 9 and 15, Danger scored 116, 130, 188 and 151. His two monster scores have been without Sloane, in round 10 when they were both in Danger got another 130 but that was against the blues... basically my concern is that Danger may go well for you now, but when Sloane comes back his output may drop... Average with Sloane in the side = 107 from 9 games. Interpret that how you will, basically it's a gamble of when Sloane comes back...
