crazy new league idea?

might be crazy and dumb but had this idea

coaches are chosen based off teams they support

they inherit there real teams list

they can still trade draft whoever but it's pretty much there job to improve the team

name 22 players each week same format as real teams

i feel this could be the most realistic league started yet

sounds promising but what scoring system???

The one thing that i would like to see in other leagues is hat all squads must include a player from every team. Otherwise you will get a fraction of your score.

ie 17/18 * score if 1 player

Good idea, (put me down for Power) if it gets going.
Maybe SC or RDT?
Could do a trial run say this year after the byes?
As Crapper says say "X" amount outsiders to be included via a trade.

So you just start with your AFL teams full list, but then shortly after it will be a mixed bag after all the trading right?

Besides the novelty of starting with your own side, I don't kind of get it because after trading it's just another version of an existing XV isn't it?

because you take the team you currently support and you get to attempt draft/trade your way to a premiership with your current teams list

i see it as a really fun challenge

lots of realism like starting format etc so it will really feel like you turned your team into a premiership team
