At the moment have 16 playing before trades (Lever and Rockliff to miss). Also got a healthy $301,100 in the bank to upgrade with. :D Was looking at Hodge, Martin, Simpson as a few options. I can get two of them in this week. I wanted to remove Hurn or Lumumba but I might keep them both so I can get close to 18 playing this week. One of Steele/Lambert/Dick getting named for their respective sides would be ideal then I would take the probably green vest and ditch Lumumba and hold Bellchambers.

Any other ideas?

McKenzie out for an M8 / bench keeper ? Yeo perhaps with his DPP. Might be handy later.

My return this year seems to have gone pretty well, still got 8 trades left which is nice.

Ok so 8 trades, $168,700 in the bank. My plan from here is pretty straight forward.
I have two spots left to upgrade, D6 and M8. Bontempelli will then switch with Steele and I have Betts on my Fwd bench ready incase of a late out.

Who will i trade to? Well Alex Rance is on the radar (ha get it?) and I almost did Lever -> Rance last week. But the Best 18 meant I held and I actually want to upgrade in the mids first. Gary Ablett makes the most sense to bring in, it won't be this week as I can't afford it. Ideally I trade out Boston, Hamling, Lever, Dale and I get two upgrades. So i will have to be patient on it and get the right players. Might skip on Ablett if it hurts my defence upgrade.

I'm going to run without cover in the rucks. If Goldy or Nic Nat look like missing late in the year, with my remaining trades I will pull the trigger and get a ruckman with a good draw in (Sandilands iirc has a good run home).

Might also have to trade Betts if it looks like the Crows are going to struggle big time for the rest of the season.

Your next move is a bit awkward from what I can see.  Not sure there are any super good rookies to trade in and your bank doesnt allow a one trade upgrade solution.

Betts to a m/f premo looks like the only one trade solution but your wanted to keep him.

I like that youve got westhoff. Been watching his form turn around over last few weeks. Solid pick.

Looks like I need to jump on Maynard next week. I'm still tossing up whether to get Rance now (From Boston) or wait and maybe to do something else next week. I still really want Ablett but I don't think I will be able to afford him.

Trading Betts is still an idea, if things looks bleak at the Crows then I might pull the trigger. But they play Port next week and we have a small forward weakness so Betts will do well I think.

As for Westhoff, I started with him and was going to trade him at his bye. But his form has just turned around and after watching him closely last night I am seeing a bit of Blicavs about him, just roaming the ground and playing more midfield. Average was 77 after the Richmond game, and now is over 90. Has the 3rd best fwd average over the last 5 rounds (Dusty and NRoo are 1 and 2).
