Pacific Leave Royals Behind

This was an important result for the Islanders; they keep their finals hopes alive, while all but condemning the Royals to finish outside the 8. But it's still possible for the Royals, they'd just have to win almost every match from now on.

Paid the penalty for not naming team - According to my calculations would have scraped home with Hanners as Capt as has been the case all year.

Reindeers Fly Through Thunder Clouds

^^ And its HP and Daz behind the reigns. I'm getting repetitive over my praise for the Reindeers, as if not I, then I want these guys to win the premiership; partly because they'd be someone new, the other part would be because they deserve it. Beijing were OK, but they weren't expected to win anyway. Their finals hopes still remain valid though.

PNL Reindeers (24.11.155) def Beijing Thunder (21.9.135)

Wolves Come out Snarling

I can only assume my disapproving looks, and constant teasing led to the snarls of Toronto. Captain Pendlebury was outstanding, and deserved to be better served from the bottom 5 players of Toronto's XV. Nonetheless, the Wolves have shown that they still got it, and that finals is still within reach. Seoul just continue their crazy consistent 120+ scores, and might be now starting to think about who they can get in a trade in the off-season.

Toronto Wolves (24.9.153) def Seoul Magpies (19.8.122)

Best

Jukes

Closest 21 point win ever :P

And nice to get the double up league+reserves again :D

And if anybody wants to see something sexy, look at the middle part of our team: 144x1.5, 102, 159, 102, 108, 123x1.5

Purple 77

And yay me for breaking my duck over Buenos Aires I suppose...

While Mexico City and Moscow continue their unbeaten runs against Cairo and Tokyo respectively.

roo boys!

Still a lot of work to be done at Toronto but its nice to be back on the winners list for the time being. Don't want to talk too soon but Griffen's new role across half back has created a big jump in scoring for him and hence Toronto has lifted a little too. DPP next year would be handy ;)

meow meow

Scores in the 140ish range were normal in the first half of the year. The 150's will be the norm from now on when things are starting to get serious. We don't peak at the wrong end of the year like some teams. Heck, even when I coached Moscow we started with 4 losses and came good at the right end of the season. Gibbs back next week and hopefully it's the 105 Gibbs and not the 80 version.

Shaun McKernan is a happy lad right about now. First game for 'church and we post our best score, in an away game no less. Coincidence?

Also #depthprevails

Memphistopheles

The one game you wouldn't think we'd need to pull out a big score and we did.

Shame we couldn't do this against the teams around us on the ladder.

PS - Sorry New Delhi. Take some solace in the fact we gave you your highest scorer for the week in Jack Darling.

Just realised that I got the 4th lowest score of the round... and won. Then I look at New Delhi  :-X

the number 1 pick and priority pick can do you wonders.

remember i turned 1 and 5 into Rance + Martin.

I hope you can do the same.
