What do you guys think Sloane can average from here on out?

Trying to decide between him and Danger for my last midfield spot

I think they'll both go about 110

Sloane is much cheaper though so go him

I'm rolling the dice and going JSteven to Sloane next week. Hopefully a 100k arbitrage opportunity.

not really the correct usage of arbitrage there.

also why would you get rid of steven surely you have a rookie, you can move instead. Steven has averaged 110 before.

I've taken $210k from KMac downgrade to Pearce + 30k reserve. With Steven to sloane I'd have around $300k in the bank to upgrade Amon in round 13. Leaves me with midfield of Fyfe, Pendles, Sloan, Parker, Jelwood, Wines, Rich, Amon+300k player.
I would be using rich to get Sloan

Thinking about it. I guess what clouds matters is these trades also give me the numbers to avoid donuts in the bye rounds (consequence of trading hard and early - my mids bench is struggle town haha)

In your position - what do you think is an acceptable season average for your M8 spot?
No less than 100 for me is a pass, ideally 105 to 115
why would you trade out steven though has been averaging pretty well

I completely understand the strategy of starting Steven with the plan for him to average well and make a tidy profit before upgrading him at the bye. My only problem with it was: for it to be a successful plan, Steven would have to play well. And know that he has, why would you want to then trade him out?

FWIW he's by far surpasses my expectations and is playing like a premium that's worth keeping. Doesn't look like slowing down.

I honestly don't see the huge problem with trading out Steven, because as an owner I have entertained the thought of it - buy low and sell high. But I think I'll wait until the Saints hit their tough run home and look to sideways him then (Sidey would be a good addition at that stage)

He's $595k so I don't think will increase in price much from here on.. Also, gives him another Round 12 mid which we all know is going to be tough - Go for it if you think you want to do it man, and you see Steven slowing down because I do later in the year and he'll fall between the 105-110 average.
