As both Tom Clurey and Joel hamling are named which is the best downgrade option

MGK1

Judging off their respective reserve leagues Clurey averages around 10 more but that is the SANFL compared to the VFL.

Hamling: 55 average (VFL)
Clurey: 67 average (SANFL)

Literally pick it out of a hat. Id go with Hamling due to more job security.

Money

Wouldn't Clurey have better JS considering how many dogs were dropped and Trengove going down?

Depends how long Trengove is out for, dogs players seem consistently in and out, I'll go with Clurey, both won't score big, but provide that bench heartbeat when there aren't any other options.

Wait a week to see if they get a second game unless you're desperate for downgrade this week.

Cash gains are not too great for first week rookies unless they go massive, second week gains are always better as they need a round to bring their BE down.

Thunderbolts

Have had Hamling on bench since start so I'm happy to see him get a game finally!

Personally though I would wait a week if you got other issues to solve

Ricochet

Clurey because JTrengrove is out for 6ish weeks. He has the better JS of the 2

Hamling appears to be replacing Michael Talia, I wouldn't expect Talia to be out of the side for long.

This. That, as well as the fact, that he has the R13 bye which helps. Backing in Clurey.

Toga

Yeah, Clurey is replacing Trengove while he is injured (which apparently will be around 6 weeks), while Hamling is fighting for his spot against guys like Michael Talia. Not convinced either will be great scorers but think Clurey is the one based on JS.
