Just back from the game with no voice.  never sung the Team song with so much gusto for a while.

Realistically if Port had kicked straight in 2nd quarter (after leading at first change)  result may have been different Port kicked 1.6 to Lions 5.2 both teams having the 7 shots which made the difference and gave Lions momentum.

Umpiring was atrocious but went both ways.  In the back and holding the ball seem to be the forgotten rules at the moment. And paying deliberate out of bounds both ways when ball went 50 metres into open field and eventually bounced out.

Didn't look too bad in slow-mo. Wingard looks ok now too so he shouldn't get more than a week at most

Rich got pushed by a Port player into Wingard, if that's what you fellas were referring to. No chance he gets anything for that.

Maybe a few Melee fines again.  Tackling was ferocious at times. There were a couple of other incidents similar to Rich and if Rich gets looked at others should as well. There was a swinging arm from a Port Player that nearly KO'd Zorko at one stage as well. Did not get his number plate.

But seriously though we may as well be playing tiddlywinks if players are going to be suspended for theses issues but after the May one who knows what the MRP will do.
