Rich Young to lead the case for WADA against Essendon

Who's Rich Young? Well....

From the Australian;

"The lawyer who brought down notorious drug cheats Marion Jones, Floyd Landis and Lance Armstrong
will present the World Anti-Doping Agency’s case against 34 current and former footballers accused of
taking a banned peptide. "

"Richard Young, a US-based anti-doping expert who helped draft the original World Anti-Doping Code,
has agreed to prosecute the case against Essendon to be heard before the International Court of Arbitration
for Sport."

Capper

don't flowerin care

In a sense I think this is actually a win. If you're going to bring in someone of this caliber then at least the outcome should be relatively indisputable.

Whilst I disagree slightly with that statement, as 90% of the populace will always see essendon as guilty. I'm so desensitized that I just couldn't give a flower. Unless the verdict for the overall hearing is today, I don't care.

I just want to watch football and talk about football related  on field things

Essendon hoping for quick resolution to #WADA appeal despite the agency granted 45 day extension to get their case ready

so the case will be heard roughly 2 months before the finals

So it could be Dons make the 8 but dont play finals again.

Its a pity the Tigers wont make the 8 so they get kicked out by 9th again

Marion Jones and Lance Armstrong were slam dunks because there was a mountain of evidence and people willing to testify against them. This case has no concrete evidence and a decided lack of people willing to come forward about their role in the saga.
