Just home from the match. My biggest disappointment was got to the ground to see the warm up and see Josh Green in the Green vest.  WTF were selectors thinking?

My overall take on the match the Eagles were less sloppy than the Lions. Both teams had shocking D/e and the turnovers were incredible. Eagles should have won by a lot more had they kicked straight as well. Maybe the wind was more of a problem than I thought.

Umpiring was so so with quite a few questionable decisions.  How the Christensen sling after he took the mark was not 50 and then Nelson attempts to play on and Zorko tackles after the mark and Eagles get 50.  Just using an example of inconsistencies that grate on me.

Rockliff will be the better for the run and for most of the time in the centre he was running with Priddis.  Think the ribs were playing on his mind and you can take this either way a couple of times he lifted his arms when Priddis was bumping him off the ball as if to say hit me here.

The player that Brisbane miss most imo is Sauce Merrett.  Whilst Clark is good he is still developing and not really strong enough to take the number one forward of opposing sides. JJK was all over him and he won't be the first fullback to have this done to.

Nick Robertson ws the one shining light to emerge and it will be hard for him tto be left out of the side next week.  He broke quite a few tackles of HB.

Brisbane really need to make their tackle stick, and watch their disposals.  According to my count 9 of Eagles goals came directly from turn overs.

For you Eagles supporters out there I like the look of Fraser McInness he will be an asset to you. McGovern continues to impress across the full back line quite often taking marks on balls bombed in long. I hope the injury to Shuey is not too serious but you never know with ankle injuries.

Can see both teams finishing in the bottom section of the ladder based on todays performance.

And giving up using phone at matches fingers too fat.
