I am tempted to trade him and Ablett out for

Goldy and NVB.

Any opinions are welcome.

PiPies

I didn't start him but I think those are solid trades. Premo for premo and a decent cash cow, nothing wrong with what you see as a corrective trade at this point.

Have TBC as backup, so not worried at this stage. Will wait and see what happens with Rucks before I make any moves. Already have Goldy, but haven't seen enough games to convince me to get any other ruck at this stage.

Lock it in. Goldy looks like the pick of the rucks and is set and forget, and NVB is a solid cash cow, plus you should have some cash left over to play with.

If you get a basement bubble boy over NVB you may be able to gun that spot 1-2 weeks early.

Not quite sure what you mean.

I have TBC / Cox and NicNait at this stage so have cover but Leue just doesn't look like being worth much.

i have the same rucks and have decided luey was a mistake! irrelevant of cover its all about money and luey was cash generation for a gun ruck in 6 weeks! thats not going to happen so get rid of him! wish i could get goldy!

I'd keep for this week mate and reassess. You have cover. Use any correctional trades to get your rookies right this week and have another look at Leuey later.

Hi Rick O'Shea,

Thanks.

My only dud rookie is Goodes. And he will probably still make a bit for me until I decide which premium defender I want.

Cripps, Heeney, CEY, Vandenberg, Newton, Oxley, McIntosh, Saad, Miller, Hogan and Lonie all fine at this stage.

Ablett is my only dud so he's goneski.

May just do Ablett to NVB and sit on the cash for a week as Bont may be a bit shaky.

Goldy is the only other one I really think I'd get this week.

Cheers to you all for your opinions. Oh that's right we can't cheer or boo anymore. Too controversial.

I believe what he means is if you go Ablett -> the likes of Ellis-Yolmen/Heeny/Vandenberg etc, they are 100k cheaper than NVB and still putting up good scores to earn cash (is how I read "If you get a basement bubble boy over NVB"), that way you get the cash cow but you have 100k left over, giveing you some extra buying power to afford a premo player earlier (is how I read "you may be able to gun that spot 1-2 weeks early").

However it appears you have the cheap guys that are worth looking at so bit of a moot point.

To play the part of lucifer's avocado, did you not get TBC as cover for a time exactly like this? I would hold Leuey for sure if you have cover, that 27 hurts but it's worth giving him another match or 2...

I think Ablett for NVB is a great cash option, giving you the extra cow and money in the bank, but it will hurt your scores if you're worried about overall. Ablett to premo, Miller to NVB?? Miller not terrible but also not looking like he'll do much... bit of a dead weight...

The irony of a Kiwi interpreting for me is not lost.  ;)

Yes, TBC was cover and yes, his score worries me and yes I like GAJ to NVB but putting that much on the bench this week is a waste.

Oh what a shame all my rookies are so good!  :P

Thanks again.

I have just gone Gaz -> NVB, & was contemplating Lamb -> Bont, now thinking Lamb becomes Grey, & Bont waits till next week

Welcome. I wouldn't be too worried about either TBC or Berger (can't tell which one you mean... Where's your grammar doc?!?) as far as scores go. TBC 80 then 60, Leuey 90 something then 27 - sure the 27 is ugly but he could still be good for 90+, who knows? Don't abandon faith just yet. That said, I had no faith in Berger to start with, I just picked the rubbish rookies :P

Kinda off topic... but hey. If you're planning on grabbing both Bont and Gray, definitely get Bont this week. Gray BE 113 averaging 118. Bont BE -21, averaging 134. Averages don't mean much from 2 games, but on those BE's Bont is guaranteed to go up in price, and potentially by quite a bit (SC gold has him projected to score 94 and will go up 50k if he does, more anything over that). Gray will probably stay the same, may go up or down slightly (SC gold again has him projected to score 105, will lose 3.6k if he does, so not much going to happen to his price really).

It's all in the context. The grammar is technically correct - as usual.  :P

You referred to Leue's score of 27. I thought you knew what you meant.
