Only saw the the last half, will catch up on the rest tomorrow but there wasn't much to fault apart from some dodgy goal kicking near the end. Much like the 2014 GF it didn't take a great deal of time to break the will power of a quality opponent. The main questions to come out of the game is who replaces Shiels should he not come up and where do Hale/Birchall fit in.

The whole team were awesome but I'm sure most people will be particularly excited about Anderson. 8 disposals, 5 tackles and 1.2 from 43% game time...I hope he can shake off the vest soon and we get to see some decent full game performances.

It's no time to get complacent given Essendon almost stung us last year but you couldn't ask for a better start to the season.

Fantastic start, couldn't ask for anything better. It helps when you are only one player away from your best 22 and obviously it won't be like that for the entire year, but we have great back ups who can all come in and play roles.

Speaking of which, if Shiels is set to miss this week then Birchall can come back in. Or if Birch needs another VFL game then JOR can come in as sub and give Anderson a full game. If Shiels is fit, I legit do not know who comes out for Birchall. I think Duryea and Anderson would both be mega stiff to miss out tbh.
