I prefer Savage, cheaper and has more security in the role. Just concerned about Walker and where he fits in the scheme of things.

Dayze

Carlton specifically recruited him to play a role off half back.
Has had a perfect upwards trajectory and looks primed to average 90+.

I think he is a ripping pick. Although savage is a good pick I think docherty is better

from what Carlton fans are saying Walker will play forward. Bully we've had the Savage convo and I agree with you, looks a good pod. Was looking through Newnes last year of footy and he barely scores more SC than DT and that tells me he has poor disposal and doesnt really impact the game, in light of this im taking a huge punt and getting either Doc of Sav.

I ditched Newnes after round 1, last week he scored 90 but received a very generous 10 point scaling, his disposal is shoddy. I would be shocked if he was anywhere near the top 6, trading him out is not risky at all. I like Docherty as well but I see both he and Savage averaging the same, therefore it becomes a question of who is cheaper.

good call Bully, also savage less likley to attract attention.

lucky

I really like docerty as well, has a really good kicking efficiency, he was really hyped up when he was at the lions too, could easily push for top 8 sc def this year.
