It really just depends how he pulled up after training. It's reported he got through the training work well.
During the week it was said that he had some fluid drained, which in the past many players have dealt with in a chronic fashion, having fluid drained off knees even weekly. It's definitely not ideal for a such a large bloke with a solid build, but I think ya just need to hold ya breath and watch this space.

I'm amazed fluid came out instead of going in

From another SC site - Ess supporter posted, so take it as reported.

This is why I have Ryder.

It's alarming, but no need to panic just yet

Clubs always tend to play 2 of the 3 emerg and keep one up their sleeve just incase

Belly is obviously not 100%, but he could be in to pressure Hawks with another tall

We don't know yet

I guess I'm just trying to be optimistic because I don't want to cop a donut lol

I Pulled the Trigger

Still have belly but moved him to foward line and got blicavs in the ruck

Shower.

If Essendon were really concerned that Bellchambers wasn't going to make it, Giles would have been named emergency. They've got 8 days to manage his soreness. McKernan is a generic tall that's just as likely to fill in for Ambrose or Daniher or Hurley/Carlisle as he is for Bellchambers.
