We wont play finals, but geez it's wins like this that really make me happy

No McKenzie, Brown, Ellis, Butler, Darling and Scooter and the guys manage to perform like this

We wont have heaps to smile about this year, so it's just really nice to soak this up and enjoy it

Very true, but when you don't have the cattle or the experience in your middle and lower tier players it is very difficult to continue at a high standard.

High standard and Carlton in same reference just doesn't seem right!
Time for Mick to take his taciturn self off to pasture. Or just go back to coaching under 12's who just enjoy playing footy again. Been a long long time since Mick looked like he enjoyed his footy.

Happy about the win tonight.
Duggan looked good for the little game time he got. Cant believe he missed his set shot when he can pin point passes 40m on either foot. Must of been 1st afl goal nerves or something but happy he got some game time,he looked smooth. Good that Simpson is is giving the kids a go as our midfield is well overdue for an overhaul (looking at you Wellingham!) Shall enjoy the win and JJK's 10 but wont get carried away as Carlton were bad. They seemed totally disinterested in the footy after the first 1/4, someone should tell them that the Nab is over.

Good that NicNat is slowing building too :)

they're both equally terrible...but carlmao xD and we run into them next week! 190 point record margin in jeopardy?

Kennedy kicked more goals tonight than he will against top 8 teams for the rest of the year

And I love how the eagles option in the poll has gone up like triple since bouncedown :P we have some expert tipsters on here!

One thing that was very very very clear last night, Carlton are not fit enough. Last night they were full of run in the first half and worked to space hard to provide options, after half time that completely stopped. They were slow and were forced to kick long down the line, and a lot of the time simply didn't have an option so had to play on. I believe it was similar last week as well

Wouldn't say equally terrible. As last night clearly showed we are less terrible by 10 goals....

Problem isn't with Kennedy kicking the goals against good sides. It's the delivery to him in those games as there is so much more pressure on the mids and they kick shower. Which is what our mids are renoun for! Put Jk in a side like hawthorn or port and he will have field days!

Also noticed that. Was more support for Carlton pre game then come back on and it's about 15 votes to 5. Maybe in there tipping comps they can change there tips at half time ? Lol.
