He was definitely out cold, Selwood reached in to pull his mouth guard and check on his neck. He did manage to walk off the ground but that must be salt into the wounds of Geelong supporters to see him knocked out so late in a huge loss

Jon Ralph just said that Bartel had brain scans in 2011 due to 2 serious concussions in that year and he had an estimated 11 leading up to that point.

I was thinking the same with a 6 day turnaround. The other thing is with the repeat concussions he has had it could mean he evaluates if it is worth playing footy anymore
