Current defence is Shaw, H.Taylor, Newnes, Goodes, K. Mcintosh, Saad
Bench: Oxley & Hamling
Going this cheap allows me to go 6 premos in the mid with griffin at m6. I feel that defence is where risks must be taken this year because we cant really see any potential atm.
would u advise me running this goodes d4 structure or not?

PiPies

Had a tinker with Goodes at D4 and while the extra $ helped elsewhere it made the defense too weak for my liking. Meant I'd have to take 2 scores from Brown, Saad, Hamling and Mcintosh. I think Saad and Mcintosh can score ok but uncertain they will play every week. Brown could cover as long one of the other 3 play but Browns scoring won't be great.

Might be worth a punt but the potential donut if a few don't play is enough to put me off.

Too weak. D5 looks safer with the lack of DEF rookies

Holz

It would make the rest of the team look good but those 6 premo mids won't save you when your copping donuts down back. Way too weak.

After the Tosh's flyer last night, who's starting 2 def rooks on field?
Anyone still keen on Goodsey? and if yes, is he D4 or D5?

If I were confident in the JS of someone like Oxley then maybe, but pretty happy with Goodes at D5. It would be ridiculous to pick him and then make him the sub, or to bring him off the rookie list and not play him.

I like it...
I've just had this horrible gut feeling about selecting him so he hasn't been in so far. Now that he's lining up, I feel like I will be well behind if I don't start a guy with his SC potential at his price!
