Bit of an interesting thread. Very relevant to SC. I'm sure we've all chucked in a rookie named in round 1 yet barely plays for the rest of the year.. RE Relton, Clurey, Yagmoor etc..

Didn't pick him but got a feeling it will be Clem Smith..

who do you reckon?

Carlton are shower. They don't have anyone else. Boek replaces Daisy, Casboult replaces Jones, Walker will come in for whoever gets an injury soonish and then they've got nothing else. A few injuries and they'll be playing Irish players you've never heard of.

Bully

Based on tonight I don't think Cripps will be guaranteed a game unless he improves on this performance, I will be keenly observing all 200k rookies on the weekend.

Haha  ;D

I've tried to make sure I'm picking rookies that I think have the best JS and opportunities, so guys like Smith and Boekhorst, Nelson, Oxley etc I haven't picked

I feel like I've picked the best rookies, but who knows - anything can happen

Cripps will be given EVERY opportunity - he is our 'saviour' in the middle apparently. There were a few worse than him though so I still think he's safe for the first few rounds at least.

Cripps attended something like 3 centre bounces in the first half

Mick needs to get him in the guts, and not on HF, so hopefully Cripps will get more of a run in the mids next week
